This print celebrates the British cyclists fascination with the hour record, their achievements and some genius engineering.

Obree
Athlete or Genius? Graeme Obree shot to fame in the early 90s after twice breaking the world hour record on a bike, Old Faithful, he'd built using parts from an old washing machine.

Boardman
In 1996, Chris Boardman set the world hour record on the Lotus 110, covering 56.375km in one hour. Though this mark is labelled “best human effort” because Boardman used a disc wheel, aero bars, and the superman position, the bike remains a tribute to what's possible on two wheels.

Wiggins
On 7 June 2015, Sir Bradley Wiggins broke Alex Dowsett's record, by completing a distance of 54.526km at the Lee Valley VeloPark in London. He was riding his Pinarello Bolide HR which was co-created with Jaguar. They designed a one-piece handlebar system, and a narrowed the forks, to reduce drag by 7.5%.

Obree, Boardman, Wiggins poster.

I bought this together with an EddyMerckx hour poster. The Merckx was for a colleague who was leaving and who got emotional when given it. The Obree is now on the wall of my home office and will be joined by more no doubt.
Communication and delivery were spot on and the quality superb.

Very good but.....

The print and frame arrived in good condition with excellent packaging. The frame is top quality but I am ever so slightly disappointed with the print. The colours could be a little more vivid and sharper and it would be improved if there were dates, places and distances listed under each bike. Overall it looks good on my wall but could be improved slightly.
