A Brand Built by Cyclists, for Cyclists

Hi, I’m Rob. Designer, cycling obsessive, and founder of The English Cyclist.

It all started in the rolling hills of East Yorkshire, where the bike was my only way to reach town and see friends. What began as a necessity soon turned into a passion.

Years later, now based in the beautiful (and far steeper!) Peak District, that love for cycling has become something bigger. In 2014, inspired by the Tour de France passing through nearby Glossop, and wanting something to mark the moment, I designed my first map-based cycling print.

I shared it on Facebook, and a friend suggested putting it on Etsy. One post led to another… and here we are.

Since then, I’ve created thousands of cycling prints for riders around the world, each one a celebration of personal rides, challenges, and achievements. Whether it’s your first century, your daily commute, or that alpine climb you’ll never forget — I’m honoured to help turn your ride into art.
