Frequently asked questions about our cycling prints, shipping and returns.

About the printing process

We take our environment very seriously and as such all of the English Cyclist prints are all printed on high-quality, locally-printed, FSC sourced papers. We have recently partnered with a large print distribution company who have 30+ printers around the globe who we now use for our international orders. It speeds up delivery and allowed us to lower our costs. Also we avoided a lot of UK to EU border hassle!

How we ship our posters

We send out our posters in poster tubes which are tough and strong. Obviously, if the postie/courier drop kicks it into the van then we will get some damage. See below for info on that (but don't worry we will get a replacement sent out ASAP).

What if the poster gets damaged, lost or I am not happy with it when it arrives?

Get in touch as soon as you can. With damaged objects, I ask you to send me a picture of what happened as it helps me when I process the refunds through Royal Mail. If you think a shipment is lost we have to wait a couple of weeks to make sure that it won't arrive. Sometimes they get sent to the wrong depot and turn up. Usually in the UK if it's not arrived within 7-10 working days we can be certain its a goner. With the rest of the world, it's a different story. They tell me it takes around 5-10 days and sometimes that is bang on. But normally it's 10-15 days.

How big are the posters?

We use international A sizes. To those in some countries that means nothing so find below the dimensions. If you need another size get in touch. If I can make some adjustments I will!

A3. Print measures 297 x 420mm or 11.69 x 16.53 inches
A2. Print measures 420 x 594mm or 16.53 x 23.39 inches

If you want to get an idea at home of how big these are in real life take stick together 2 x A4s for an A3 and 4 x A4s an A2. If you are in the US do the same with your 'letter' sized paper as that's a rough equivalent of A4. Stick them on the wall! The A3 isn't large but perfect for smaller rooms. If you are looking to make more of a statement in a larger room I would recommend an A2 (or set of A3s)
