Frequently asked questions about our cycling prints, shipping and returns.
About the printing process
We take our environment very seriously and as such all of the English Cyclist prints are all printed on high-quality, locally-printed, ethically sourced papers. Depending on which poster you go for we either print on 260gsm satin paper or 170gsm uncoated paper. Both stocks are FSC sourced. Both stocks are suitable for framing or hanging and should provide a year's of quality artwork joy.
How we ship our cycling posters
We send out our posters in poster tubes that are tough and strong. Obviously, if the postie drop kicks it into the van then we will get some damage. See below for info on that (but don't worry we will get a replacement sent out ASAP).

How we ship our cycling mugs
Our mugs get shipped out in touch mug double skin cardboard postal boxes. Although I've not tried it I am certain you could drop it from quite a height and it'd survive!
How we print and ship our cycling t-shirts
We are still testing and learning about our clothing range so our t-shirts are printed on demand. This means it will take a little longer than our other products to ship out. Usually, it takes us 3-5 days to fit in a t-shirt print order so please add that on top of shipping times.
What if the poster gets damaged, lost or I am not happy with it when it arrives?
Get in touch as soon as you can. With damaged objects, I ask you to send me a picture of what happened as it helps me when I process the refunds through Royal Mail. If you think a shipment is lost we have to wait a couple of weeks to make sure that it won't arrive. Sometimes they get sent to the wrong depot and turn up. Usually in the UK if it's not arrived within 7-10 working days we can be certain its a goner. With the rest of the world, it's a different story. They tell me it takes around 5-10 days and sometimes that is bang on. But normally it's 10-15 days.

How big are the posters?
We use international A sizes. To those in some countries that means nothing so find below the dimensions. If you need another size get in touch. If I can make some adjustments I will!
A3. Print measures 297 x 420mm or 11.69 x 16.53 inches
A2. Print measures 420 x 594mm or 16.53 x 23.39 inches
If you want to get an idea at home of how big these are in real life take stick together 2 x A4s for an A3 and 4 x A4s an A2. If you are in the US do the same with your 'letter' sized paper as that's a rough equivalent of A4. Stick them on the wall! The A3 isn't large but perfect for man caves, hallways, small bedrooms etc. If you are looking to make more of a statement in a larger room I would recommend an A2 (or set of A3s)
Framing your cycling art
We will soon be offering a framing service but in the meantime, we suggest going onto Amazon and ordering a Nielson Pearl. They look great and offer great quality for the money. Please don't get the real cheap frames. I've had loads of customers get in touch to quiz me on the sizes of the poster when in fact the frame that was supposed to be A3 or A2 was, in fact, a few centimeters off! Find links to the Nielson Pearl below:
If you want your artwork mounting I would recommend getting down to your local framer. They will do a great job and line it all up nicely. I tried a few myself and was surprised at how much hassle it was!
